Create or Problem Solve?

The ratio of time spent creating vs. problem solving is 1 to 50. I’ve been to problem solving training, learned problem solving techniques and tools, and been part of too many problem solving meeting to even count.

I’ve only been to one or two creativity trainings and that has been of my own volition. I’ve NEVER been to a meeting in which the agenda was to create something.

Seems like we look backwards way too much and spend way too little time and energy looking forward to WHAT WE REALLY WANT.

Life has taught me that I get much better results when I work on creating what I want versus fixing what I don‘t want.
